Effectiveness based on natural substances is the hallmark of Mel Skin cosmetic products. Mel Skin cream for dry skin surprised our testers with its great effectiveness in supporting the condition of dry skin. Its effective action is due to its 97% natural, refined composition full of plant extracts and oils 🌿. Our testers immediately noticed the effects of green tea and aloe vera, which together have a great effect on tired and dry skin that requires deep hydration and nourishment 💖. The cream has a strong nourishing effect and does not leave a greasy film, which we considered a great plus because it works with makeup without any problems 🥰. Shea butter, D-panthenol, olive oil and sunflower oil ensure deep hydration. In addition, the pleasant citrus scent makes evening skin care relaxing. Such a combination of great composition and fantastic effectiveness brought Mel Skin dry skin cream to the top of today's list! 👏👏👏
Benefits
- moisturizes
- emollient effect
- high efficiency
- does not sensitise
Disadvantages
- may cause clogging
- leaves a greasy film
- not suitable as a make-up base
- synthetic composition
- PEG in the composition
- may cause the skin to look oily
Atoderm Nutritive by Bioderma is a nourishing face cream that contains two natural ingredients, shea butter and avocado extract with nourishing, regenerating and soothing properties. There are also two moisturizing ingredients in the formula, petroleum jelly and glycerin 🙂. Thanks to the high content of these ingredients, Bioderma Atoderm Nutritive restores the hydrolipid balance of dry skin, which quickly regains the proper level of hydration 👍. The improvement of the skin condition was confirmed by our testers. Bioderma Atoderm Nutritive cream for dry skin has a deeply moisturizing and emollient effect on the skin, which is helpful in the case of very dry areas of the body, but quickly begins to clog the skin pores and leaves a very oily film 😓. For this reason, it is not suitable for use with makeup. We guess that this is due to the presence of petroleum jelly and glycerin in the composition, which overall is quite synthetic 🧪. Despite these drawbacks, we recommend Bioderma Atoderm Nutritive cream for dry skin, but due to its composition and oiliness, it will work better as an ad hoc remedy than a part of regular skin care.
Benefits
- good texture
- fairly good efficiency
- does not leave the skin feeling tight
- improves skin condition
Disadvantages
- the moisturizing effect may not be enough for very dry skin
- does not work well with some foundations
- in the long run, it can make the skin look oily
- in some cases, it can lead to acne and blackheads
Barrier Renew is a product from the Bielenda Professional line, which closes the podium of our today's ranking. Our group of testers liked the Bielenda cream for dry skin for its easy application and good efficiency 🙂. The cream-gel texture does not leave the skin feeling tight after application. The formula of Bielenda Barrier Renew contains water-binding hyaluronic acid, smoothing allantoin and squalane, but it is mainly based on synthetic ingredients 🧪. The nourishing effect of the skin is observable, but our testers with very dry skin pointed out that the effect is not intense enough 🤔. With long-term use, some of the testers developed blackheads, but this problem mainly appeared in sensitive skin. If you do not need deep hydration, then Bielenda Professional Barrier Renew will be quite a good choice, but we like more natural creams better 😉.
Benefits
- 6 oils in the formula
- good hydration
- plenty of natural ingredients
- texture
Disadvantages
- not suitable for sensitive skin
- leave a film and makes the skin feel tight
- may make the face look oily
- may cause pimples on blemish-prone skin
Eveline Cosmetics Beauty&Glow is quite a pleasant surprise in today's list. The product is available at a quite affordable price, and, according to our testers, is quite effective 😊. The formula is largely based on natural substances, including 6 natural oils 🌿. This gives an intense emollient effect on the skin. While it does moisturize the skin, Eveline Beauty&Glow is not a cream without flaws 🤔. First of all, it is not suitable for sensitive skin that is prone to blemishes, because it can aggravate the problem 😬. In addition, the skin starts to look oily. However, taking into account the price and quality, this Eveline cream performs quite well.
Benefits
- skin nourishing effect
- application
- good as a night cream
Disadvantages
- not suitable as a make-up base
- contains a lot of paraffin
- PEG in the composition
- high price
- average efficiency
Despite its undoubted popularity, Avene Hydrance Riche cream for dry skin closes today's list. Due to the high content of paraffin and glycerin, which are the second and third ingredient on the label, Avène Eau Thermale Hydrance Riche acts more like a lubricating ointment than a face cream 😞. Our testers were not entirely satisfied with the effects of the application, because it leaves a greasy film and does not work with makeup. It may also clog pores. The upside is that it can be used on the dry skin of the legs or hands or as a night cream 👍. Then, those disadvantages are not as important as during the day. Avene cream can be recommended for dry skin, but rather not for the facial skin 😉.
